Episode #11: Unpacking CPAC

Download this episode

With Jacob back from vacation, he recounts the story of where he went during his time off: A Titanic museum that he says reminds him of the decline of Western Civilization, when the moral standards of the elite back then are contrasted with the non-existent morality of today’s elite. Then, after Jacob and Eric reflect on the implications of Cancel Culture’s latest crusade against the works of the beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss, they recap all of the biggest speeches from the 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), from the best (Josh Hawley, Ron DeSantis, and Donald Trump Jr.) to the worst (Ted Cruz, Tom Cotton, and Mike Pompeo). They compare and contrast the speeches that reflect a genuine understanding of the America First movement with those who are simply attempting to hijack the Trump agenda for their own means, or worse, attempting to repackage Neo-Conservatism under the MAGA label.
